Tour Description
There is no rushing through your tour, you will have plenty of time to enjoy Turkey and the Anzac commemorations. This tour visits the most popular and beautiful sights in Turkey. If you have time on your hands don’t miss out on Turkey!!!  Experience the Gallipoli Battlefields and the Anzac Services with a BBQ party on the peninsula; enjoy the cultural, touristic, and historical sights of Turkey. You will enjoy sea, sand, sun, and not to mention loads of fun. The tour covers Istanbul, Troy, Asklepion and Red Basilica, and the roman city of Pergamum, the ancient ruins of Ephesus, the hot springs, Hierapolis and calcium terraces of Pamukkale, a mud bath in the middle of Lake Koycegiz, the magnificent Fethiye/Oludeniz, Perge, Aspendos and beautiful views of the Mediterranean coast in Antalya. The underground cities and fairy chimneys of Cappadocia, while staying in the authentic cave hotels . Visiting the capital of Turkey, Ankara. All entrance fees are included in the tour, 4 – 5 Star Luxury Hotel accommodation and we have a welcome party on arrival in Istanbul. Day 1 – Istanbul 21stApril

Welcome to Turkey, arrival into Istanbul. Transfer from airport & check in to your hotel. Welcome cocktail at 7:30pm at the hotel. Tonight we can take you to a welcome gala dinner with Traditional Turkish 1001 entertainment, an optional activity. You can meet our friendly crew and other travellers while enjoying traditional Turkish Food and enjoy the mystical atmosphere of Istanbul at night. The evening starts at 8:30pm.Overnight at 5star Hotel in Istanbul.

Day 2 – Istanbul City Tour 22nd April

(Breakfast Included)
We depart from the hotel at 09:00 for the Istanbul city tour. Topkapi Palace The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. Sultan Ahmet Imperial Mosque Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.
Hippodrome Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break and then we head to the Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice. After the tour you have the option to experience The Bosphorous Cruise. You will have the chance to enjoy magnificent views of Bosphorous which is connecting Asia to Europe. Tonight nearly every tour group will have arrived. We have a welcome party arranged to meet and greet the groups and tour guides. This is an optional activity, unlimited local drinks between 9-11pm.! Overnight at 5star Hotel in Istanbul.
Day 3- Gallipoli Tour 23rd April
We depart for Gallipoli at 07:00. (5 Hour Drive) On the way we will have the chance to watch the latest documentary on the Gallipoli Campaign. We arrive in Gallipoli for lunch on the coast of Kabatepe which is included in the price. We then start our tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula. Visit Kabatepe War Museum , Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Australia’s Memorial and Cemetery, Quinns Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk-Bair New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery. Dinner will be at your 4star hotel in Cannakale. Overnight in Cannakale
Day 4- Troy & Dawn Service 24th April
After breakfast, we depart at 09:00am for the ancient city of Troy (20 minute Drive).Your guide will explain the mythology surrounding Troy, the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy. After Troy, return to our 4star Cannakale hotel. The afternoon is yours to enjoy, relax and have fun with your new friends, or get some sleep before the dawn service! If you wish to buy snacks for the overnight camp, here is best to do it. Tonight at 6:30pm we drive to the coast of Kabatepe again for our big ANZAC BBQ PARTY until 9.30 pm. After dinner we will depart for Dawn Service

DAY-5 Gallipoli Dawn Service  25th April

Don't forget your sleeping bags, warm clothes, breakfast box, wet weather wear and torches because Gallipoli is still as dark and cold today as it was 93 years ago when your ancestors landed.

After the Services (approx 3pm) we will drive to our 4star hotel in Ayvalık. ( 3 Hour Drive ) The night is yours to relax, dinner will be served at the Hotel also
Day 6- Pergamum Tour / Kusadasi  26th April
Short drive to  Pergamum ( 45 Minute ) - see Asklepion, Zeus alter, Red Basilica etc.  Pergamum is the site of the Hellenistic - and later Roman - city of Pergamum, ruled for several centuries by a powerful local dynasty.  Its foremost attraction is the Kizil Avlu or "Red Basilica", a huge edifice on the river not far from the acropolis, originally built as a temple to the Egyptian god Osiris and converted to a basilica by the early Christians, when it was one of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor addressed by St John in the book of Revelation Then departure for Kuşadasi. (3 Hour Drive) On the way, we will visit one of the places which continues to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; a carpet weaving centre. After that, check in to your hotel. Have a rest till dinner time. After having dinner at the hotel, you will have the free time to stroll.
Day 7- Ephesus & Kusadasi  27th April
After breakfast we will depart at 0900am (20 Minute Drive) visit to Ephesus - once the commercial centre of the ancient world - is a highlight of any visit to Turkey. The city, whose wealth and patronage supported its splendid architectural program, was dedicated to the goddess Artemis. Her enormous temple, once considered one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World and rebuilt several times, dates in its latest form from the third century B.C. The tour of the ruins also includes a theatre, gymnasium, agora and baths, as well as the Library of Celsus. After lunch, we will make a shopping tour in which you will be aware of the ancient arts of Turkey like leather manufacturing and jewellery. As this will be a guided tour, you will avoid the constant nagging and sometimes bullying that is said to be in the markets in Turkey, enabling you to enjoy the shopping experience whilst gaining the knowledge of the ancient craftsmen. In the evening, as being one of our optional activities, you will have the chance to experience the traditional Turkish bath. Overnight Kusadasi.
Day 8- Pamukkale Tour 28th April
At 08:30 we depart for Pamukkale. (2.5 Hour Drive) We arrive at Pamukkale for lunch. Afterwards we shall visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this natural phenomenon and you will have the chance of lying in the waters of the natural springs. After our days activities we will check into our hotel in Pamukkale Dinner will be served at the hotel and the rest of the night is yours. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 9- Pamukkale & Dalyan Mud Bath -Fethiye 29th April
After Breakfast depart for Dalyan. ( 4 Hour Drive ) Dalyan is a very popular small town not spoiled by buildings. The wonderful 7 kilometres sandy Iztuzu Beach , which is accessible by a 45 minutes boat trip, is one of the last nesting areas for the Caretta Caretta Sea Turtles. Lunch break. A 15 minutes' boat trip will take you to the sulfur bath which is a different experience for many people visiting the city. Caunos, the ancient city near modern Dalyan, was founded around the 9th century BC. Caunos is famous for its rock-cut tombs. After the tour, return to your hotel to rest & have dinner. The night is yours. Overnight in Dalyan / Fethiye.
Day 10- Antalya   30th April
After breakfast depart to Antalya. ( 5 Hour Drive ) Don’t forget your swimming gears as there might be a chance to swim in the Mediterranean today! On the way we shall see one of the best panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. Make a lunch break on the way. We will be passing from ancient Likya and you will have the chance to take photos of breath taking scenes. In ancient times it covered all Pamphylia that means "the land of all tribes". Attalia, the ancient name of Antalya, is derived from that of the Pergamum king Attalos II Philadelphus, who founded the city on the Pamphylian seacoast around 150 BC. It is know that it was visited by St. Paul by way of Perge in 46 A.D., that it was an important trading centre in the 2nd century A.D. and that the Emperor Hadrian's visit in 130 A.D. was commemorated with new monuments. Check in to your 5star hotel. The rest of the day is yours to discover Antalya.
Day 11- Antalya Perge Aspendos Tour   01st May
After breakfast depart to Antalya. ( 30 Minute Drive ) PERGE : According to the geographer Strabon ,Perge has been founded by Akhas who came down here after the Trojan wars. Perge was first mentioned in 334 BC when Alexander the Great passed through here. In the following years, Perge went under the control of Pergamum when the Kingdom of Pergamum became a part of the Roman city. Especially in the first and the second centuries BC, Perge became one of the richest towns in Pamphylia. Therefore it is not a surprising that St. Paul started his campaign in Anatolia from Perge in 46 AD.
After the tour, departure for Aspendos. Lunch break on the way.
ASPENDOS: The eastern land of Antalya was called Pamphylia in ancient times. Aspendos (Belkis) lies 47 km east of Antalya in the Pamphylian plain. In 486 BC, Greeks and Persians had a great battle here (Greeks won, they didn't stay for long). During the reign of he Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius (161-80 AD) Aspendos got its theatre, which is the best preserved of all. It was built by Romans and maintained by Byzantines and Seljuks. The ruins of the ancient city are extensive and include a stadium, an agora, and a basilica. Overnight Antalya 5star Hotel, dinner served at the Hotel.
Day 12- Antalya - Cappadocia   02nd May
After breakfast 08:00 am depart to Cappadocia. ( 8 Hour Drive ) drive to Cappadocia . Check in to your hotel. After having some rest, an optional activity is to go to the famous traditional Turkish Night, where you will enjoy Whirling Dervishes, Belly Dancing, Traditional Turkish Folklore, unlimited local drinks and food. We recommend it should not be missed. Overnight in Cappadocia Boutique Cave Hotel.
Day 13- Cappadocia Tour   03rd May
After breakfast 09:00 am depart to Cappadocia Tour. Today we will get to know the Cappadocia region, a volcanic area in which the geological formation started 10 million years ago. As a result of these formations phallic like pillars have come to life. The beautiful horse country "Katpatuka," (as the Persians called her) is an unbelievable strip of land, enchanting and mysterious. Our guided tour will start at 9:30 and cover Avcilar, Pigeon Valley , Göreme Open Air Museum , Dervent Valley , Uçhisar Castle and the pottery village of Avanos . If you want to join our optional activity of Ballooning, please contact with your guide and register because it will take place early the next morning. Day 14- Cappadocia Tour & Ankara   04th May
We depart at 09:00 for one of the most interesting sites of Cappadocia - Derinkuyu Underground City. The Christians hid from the armies of Rome and the raids of hostile tribes in these self sufficient cities in which there were halls for stocks of crop, barns, rooms, kitchens & ventilation channels. This afternoon we will depart for Ankara ( 4 Hour Drive ) with a lunch break during the trip. Over night at 4star hotel in Ankara where dinner will be served.
Day 15- Ankara City Tour & Istanbul   05th May
After breakfast 09:00 am Visit Ataturk (founder of the modern Turkey) Museum at the Ataturk Mosoleum. Lunch break. After the break city tour of Ankara which is the 2nd biggest city and the capital of Turkey. Then departure for Istanbul. ( 5 Hour Drive )  Over night at 5star hotel in Istanbul, the night is yours
Day 16- Istanbul Tour The End   06th May
