Visitors arriving for the Dawn Service should carry a torch and
follow any instructions given. The morning can be cold and wet
and extra clothing is necessary. It is recommended that visitors
carry food and drink with them sufficient for the day. There are
no fresh water.
Taps near the site of the Dawn Service. Those arriving the night
before ANZAC Day are advised to keep to the main congregation
areas and to take precautions for their personal safety as the
area is undeveloped. There are temporary toilets installed near
the Dawn Service site, at Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair memorials.
There are also toilets at the Museum at Kabatepe and down the
hill from Chunuk Bair.
